Description
For Sale.
I bought this 1995 K75RT with ABS system 1 with 88K miles on the (broken odometer) in '21 with a worn out/contaminated clutch assy, rear main & input seal leaking. It did run at that time & still does. I had the clutch assembly replaced along with seals that were leaking replaced by a Master BMW motorcycle mechanic in Denver, CO. He went through the bike & gave it a "clean bill" of health. He lubed (the obvious) the clutch & final drive splines at that initial clutch replacement amongst other maintenance scheduled items like coolant flush & renew. I had the speedometer/odometer Instrument Cluster rebuilt late last year (during the winter) & the mileage was set at 92K as I rode the bike last summer & I kept record of how many miles I rode with a broken odometer. While the IC was off the bike, I had the repair shop change the stock white backlighting to green LED's. Makes it easier to see at night. The ABS system has been flushed, bled & renewed brake fluids, replaced rear brake pads & rear brake disc/rotor. There wasn't any maintenance history on it when I bought it but the condition was mediocre at best. I bought the bike from a gentleman who bought it from a friend of his who is no longer with us.
The machine currently has brand new BT46 tires on it with about 100 miles on the tires. It idles smooth as silk & runs like a top.
Comes with the stock side hard cases & tail trunk, all lockable. Everything works as it should.
Comes with a tool roll, Corbin touring saddle, sheepskin cover (although pretty worn out but it helps the bum on long distance rides;) & original owner's manual & a Clymer K-Series thru- 1985 to 1997 Maintenance-Troubleshooting-Repair Manual. Asking $3500.- or best reasonable offer (without insult;) for a new home & chapter in it's long life. I have spent lots of hard earned $$ & BST's getting this machine roadworthy but asking what I have invested? Not going there! My loss, your gain. Questions? Feel free to ask & I will answer them to the best of my knowledge. Thanks for looking!
