2003 BMW R1150R, Pristine

BMW R1150R, 2003, 11,400 miles. Non-ABS model.

This fantastic motorcycle has been professionally maintained and needs absolutely nothing. It does not have ABS, and never did. ABS on the 1150 has proven to be troublesome and failure prone. It has been extensively updated for longevity, reliability and safety. In the last 150 miles (Since August of 2023) the following maintenance operations and updates have been performed (Standard 12,000 mile Service, with additions).
Fuel filter replaced.
Sparkplugs replaced.
Air Filter replaced.
Michelin Pilot Road4 GT tires installed.
Oil and oil filter changed.
Brake system flushed and filled.
Clutch system flushed and filled.
Drive shaft splines greased.
Shift linkage greased.
Trans fluid changed.
Rear diff (bevel gear) oil changed.
Valves gapped to spec.
Braided steel fuel lines installed, with quick connects.
Throttle bodies synchronized at idle and 3000 rpm.
Battery trickle charger wiring connection installed.
Left cylinder timing chain tensioner replaced with updated tensioner.
The charcoal canister has been deleted and the tubing properly rerouted. If you prefer the charcoal canister will be reinstalled.
The passenger footrests have been removed, but I will reinstall them if you prefer.

I will text you any additional photos you would like, and include that day’s newspaper date. I can also email a file showing cold start and engine running sound. This bike starts, runs, and rides like new. I have a clear NH title in my name. Price $4995.
