For Sale: 2004 BMW R1150R Rockster

For sale is my 2004 R1150R Rockster (non-ABS, twin spark) with 23,214 miles. I am the third owner, was purchased in 2010 having 3950 miles. Previous owner had a low speed tip over resulting in some small scuffs affecting right side cylinder, bar end weight, and rider and passenger pegs. Also a scratch on front fender of unknown origin but also from previous owner.

The bike has been garage kept except when traveling, was stored each winter with ethanol free gasoline and the battery tendered. Am selling because, as I age I’m just not riding her as much as I should. This is by far the best handling bike I’ve ever owned (have owned quite a few), she’s not a museum piece but mechanically is in top shape.

The extras include: fork-mounted Motolights and extra bulbs, two front color-matched hoods (one naked and one laminar lip windscreen), BMW touring side cases, original under seat kit (tools, tire kit). Also included are all the parts for the solo seat option.

The Dunlop Road Smart 3 tires have less than 100 miles, oil change with full synthetic at the time tires were mounted. Most of the maintenance work on this bike performed by Mathias BMW in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
