This engine has CRACKED pistons, casualties of lean burn,
the lightweight pistons in this engine are well known to be fragile then throw in poor maintenance, however the flywheel is lightened, a deep oil pan, big valve heads, crane cam (with a conservative duration), missing the starter cover, & carbs,

Former member just back, kids are grown and I sold all my 4 wheelers,
BMW, Norton & Guzzi move me, a mechanic for a few days longer than a motorrader, that was 55 years ago
Bikes that I’ve worked with do span the alphabet, however, I do avoid bikes from the orient, occasionally I give in to the begging but I find that I don’t respect myself in the morning
