2004 BMW R1200CL. The only real mark on the bike is on the right saddle bag and one of the pipes has some marring on it that should clean up. Otherwise, the bike shows the expected wear for a bike of this age. The bike was repainted with light ghost flames on the fairing and hard luggage after a 0 mph drop by the previous owner. It would only take a pinch of TLC to really spruce up. Details: 11,230 miles more or less, brand new battery this week ($85), cruise control, Wunderlich performance controller ($325), 5 speed and overdrive, brand new tires ($350), a low seat height, 2 level heated grips and seats, integrated abs brakes, am/fm/cd, center stand ($120), Clymer repair manual. We purchased this bike for my wife two summers ago, put only a few hundred miles on it, and discovered it was a bit too large for her. The previous owner lived on a farm and rode it infrequently. I put in the time to clean it and make it road worthy. The bike runs well after a fresh tune up, valve adjustment, and new brake pads. I planned to replace the rear brake line due to brake pads rubbing a bit, haven’t got there yet. Otherwise, all systems on the bike function properly and should provide many years of service. This is a big, heavy bike and should only be considered by an experienced rider. This is a cruiser and it will NOT break any land speed records, but you’ll get where you are going every time and in comfort.
