This belongs to a customer who has to give it up, and it is currently in my repair shop in Charlottesville, VA. One-owner, garage kept, freshly serviced. It is very, very clean. If you remove the tank you will see if it just as clean underneath as it is on the outside. This guy takes very good care of his stuff.

If you know that you like the 1150 better than the 1200, and you wish you could buy a new one again, this is probably the closest you will ever get. It's the last year of the R1150GS Adventure, so it has the latest revision of the transmission, alternator drive, brakes, ignition, and anything else that changed during the four year production run.

It has two hardwired heat-trollers (visible to each side of the fork tubes) which control the two accessory sockets that have been added at the left passenger footpeg.
The switch on the right, along with the photo eye, controls the auxiliary lights.
The Jesse rear top-box is semi-permanent; it can be unbolted but does not have provision for quick on/off.
Replacement muffler to allow full-size left Jesse bag
Full-size Jesse panniers, both sides
Touratech hard parts for the steering stop
Wunderlich or Touratech lower front fender
Touratech center stand skidplate
Touratech valve cover guards
Aftermarket footpegs
BMW low seat (black)
BMW alarm
Original red/gray seat, like new (shown in photos)
Original muffler (will not fit with the Jesse mounts, though)
Original plastic valve cover protectors
Original lower front fender and lower rear fender
Evaporative emissions equipment (removed to allow mounting the Jesse rack)
The take-off parts are like new; I think the Jesse installation was done at the time the bike was sold. Shocks are OEM. It has the original tires on it, installed at delivery. I was going to put fresh rubber on it for a cross-country trip, but when the owner determined that he had to sell it we decided to leave the tire choice to the next owner.

The bike has tipped over, once, in the driveway resulting in a scrape on the left valve cover guard, a crack in the forward mounting boss for it, and a bend in the left passenger footpeg bracket (part of the Jesse mount). I have left them as-is strictly as full disclosure that what you see is all that has ever happened to this bike. You can see it in the photos and we will be happy to repair/replace the cover and the bag mount. The cracked boss is not worth messing with.

We are asking $8500 OBO, and anyone paying the asking price will get everything listed here and free mounting/balancing of his choice of tires. You will be buying the bike from the owner, not me. Clear title, registered, insured, etc.

Pictures are here: and within reason I'm happy to add more photos on request.

Feel free to call me about this bike during business hours Eastern time, Mon-Fri. It's a really special bike and I'd love to see it go to a good home.
