04' R1150R 1 owner, meticulously maintained!

This the one of the most reliable bikes ever built. I bought it new in the fall of 03'. Met every maintenance schedule. Traveled the entire United States with no major issue's. I have camped off this bike for 2 weeks at a crack, through mountains, sleet/snow, rain and everything else Mom can send our way. I never shy'ed away from a dirt road, or mountain pass. I have equipped it with skid plates and 60/40 tires over the years. With the odometer reading nearly 100k mi. I've decided to change My riding style to a GTL. I know, big change here. But I'm in My 60's and need a little more comfort on the iron butt runs. Oh yeah the R did a couple iron butt's. I know everything there is to know about this bike. I have all the service records and book's. I have done maintenance seminars with this bike, 8 hours or less to do the major service, including spline shaft lubrication. I want this bike to go to an enthusiast. Someone who wants a well cared for example of one of BMW's finest entry level bike ever built. It will sit in My shop, likely get ridden very little by My Grandchildren, and always maintained until it sell's or I die. I am asking $3000 or best offer for this exquisite piece of machinery.
