1976 Airhead with Steib S500 Sidecar

1976 BMW R60/6 with 1000cc upgrade and 2018 Steib S500 sidecar
Completely disassembled and the parts vapor blasted. All assembly, customizations, and upgrades were performed by Bombar’s Beemers in North Carolina between 2018 and 2019.
- [ ] Carburetors rebuilt
- [ ] 1000cc Seibenrock Power Kit. Nicasio-coated cylinders, forged pistons, stainless steel push rod tubes
- [ ] New Bosch 5-Pin Starter
- [ ] Transmission was disassembled, inspected, and reassembled
- [ ] New 2018 Steib S500 sidecar with windscreen manufactured by Ideal Seitenwagen Berlin Germany. The sidecar itself was purchased (crated and unfinished) from Blue Moon Cycle. The Steib S500 adapter subframe was not available from Blue Moon Cycle so was purchased directly from Ideal Seitenwagen.
- [ ] Front forks rebuilt with new springs. Added Tarossi front fork brace with Volkswagen Beetle steering stabilizer.
- [ ] New rear shocks
- [ ] Painted tank, fenders, and sidecar with Emron paint. Code 555EU BMW white
- [ ] Steib frame was painted with black powder coat.
- [ ] New throttle cables and clutch cable
- [ ] Emerald 450W charging system with 105mm Stator
- [ ] Emerald V4 Classic Digital Ignition
- [ ] Final drive crown gear and spline gear rebuilt
- [ ] Cylinder heads refurbished and decked. New exhaust and inlet valves, new valve springs, new valve guides (BMW brass)
- [ ] ELECTRONICS: LED conversion - Instrument & turn signals
