1994 R1100RS

The one that started it all! 1994 R1100RS. Marrakesh Red. 85k miles. ABS, RID. Bike purchased with 35k miles on it in 2002. I am the third or fourth owner. Sorry I’m not the record-keeping type - if it gets to that point, I can give you my mechanic’s shop number - he and I have done most of the work on it. I’d hop on it tomorrow and ride across the country no concerns. Finally been convinced it’s time to move on to a GS, can’t keep both. Okay now for the goodies:

Ohlins suspension front and rear, Spiegler braided brake lines, Techlusion engine mapping, Staintune exhaust, “hyper” lights. Throttlemeister, various extra bits like multiple windscreens etc. - not keeping any related accessories. Factory side bags with soft travel bags, BMW top case, all keyed to ignition. Clutch last done at 50k by dealer, transmission rebuilt at 55k by Tom Cutter, Hall effect sensor replaced 2017.

This baby cooks. I’ve done Deal’s Gap, Sierras, Colorado, you name it pretty much - it’s a beast. Have put in many 500+ mile days on this. It’s got a few small nicks but you have to look closely. I’ve always kept it in perfect running shape - I either adjust valves myself or my mechanic does, and keep them in spec. Tires have at least 75% left on them.
