First Gear "Clutch" 2 Piece Rain Suite Jacket (L) and Pants (M)

I am selling because I have a medical condition that will prevent me from continuing to ride. I am selling off my gear acquired for days in retirement when I would have more time to ride longer trips and not being constrained by a Monday through Friday work schedule. I am hoping to get my gear into the hands of people who will save some money and use it as it was intended.

The Clutch is a good choice for those wanting a rain suit for occasional/emergency use. This suit is PVC construction so is very durable and easy to make waterproof.. The jacket includes one waterproof chest pocket and draw strings at the bottom that can be tightened to further seal out the elements. The jacket also comes with a snap on rain hood that is stored in the front pocket. The pants have an expansion gusset at the bottom to allow you to put the pants on over boots. The material used in this suit is medium duty. As I mentioned above, I’d recommend this rain suite for occasional use but if you commute on your bike in wet climates you want a more robust rain suit. For rain on trips this makes a great choice for rain suites.

For fitment, You’d want to buy a jacket in the size you’d normally buy men’s clothes (like your tee shirt/jacket size). The jackets and pants are made taller and larger than standard with the idea you’d be able to wear them over a jacket and pants without having to choose a larger-than-normal size. Again, this rain jacket is size L and the pants are size M.

The chart below gives an estimate of actual measured size. As you can see, the waist on the pants is HIGHLY variable and should work for almost anybody, but you could choose a jacket size by measuring your chest with your gear on.
