Replacement Retrofit Tank Backpack for R 850/1100 RT - BMW PN: 71602342677 - PRICE REDUCED 10/8/2024

This is a BMW tank bag that I purchased new in 2002 from a BMW motorcycle dealership in Orlando, Florida. It was installed on a new 2002 R1150RT motorcycle. It has been used for perhaps four long round trips from Florida to North Carolina. The tank bag is in very good to excellent condition. There is no visible wear on any parts of the bag.

IMPORTANT: This item is intended to replace an existing tank bag exactly like this. This is because the mounting hardware is not supplied with this item. In 2015 my R1150RT was traded in and the mounting hardware remained with the R1150RT. Not included specifically are: 1) the two mounting brackets and socket head screws the are installed on the gas tank, and 2) the zippered strap that mounts behind the body panel in front of the seat.

The User Manual for the tank bag suggests that this tank bag fits an R 850, an R1100 RT. It also fits an R1150RT as demonstrated by my successful installation on an R1150 RT.
