1978 R80/7 for sale. Great shape. I very recently acquired it from a widow whose deceased husband bought it new and treated this bike with great reverence. Garage kept and well maintained. Dormant since 2015. Then I realize that I don’t need another bike in my stable. Some pictures are on the trailer before any bath. Cleaned it up, woke it up, and now its ready for you and the road. Original tool kit, air pump, and owners manual. All oils changed and fresh. New plugs. New starter. Tire tread is great, but the tires are least 10 years old. I don’t trust old tires, although I did have this bike up to an easy 80 mph. I swapped out the flat head carbs for CVC Bings. Old Bing carbs go with the bike. Custom seat is in perfect condition. Luftmeister fairing. BMW bags. Cosmetically, a ding on the left side of the tank and has the typical light buckle rash and minor bumps and scratches in the paint which would be expected for a bike of such distinction. Odometer reads 16,000, however, when I had the bike out, it wasn’t registering. I can’t imagine the former owner would have put up with an odometer issue. Will help with transport.
