2005 F650GS 31,403 miles

This bike is in good running condition, definitely not a beauty queen. It has some scratches in the plastic on the left side, previous owner said it was from adventures twice doing the TAT. In the past year or so, I’ve had Hermy’s BMW do some work – replaced the steering head bearings, new fork seals / oil, replaced the ignition switch (it was starting to stick a little), reworked the back brakes. Also has newer front brake pads. Chain and sprockets have been fairly recently replaced, along with a newer AGM battery. The fuel injection filter / pressure regulator was recently replaced (BMW part).

It has the Austrian-built Rotax engine. I purchased it with some needs to be addressed in Central Missouri, rode it to Minnesota and then home via Ontario. The deficiencies have been addressed, although it could still use some attention. An oil change and probably new tires soon.

The bike has been great, it never let me down. 31,403 miles (30,000 mile service has not yet been completed). It includes a BMW tall shield and a shorter BMW sport shield. There is a BMW DIN port for charging or a USB adapter, along with a dual USB port / voltmeter on the handlebars. It includes a 47 liter GIVI top box, GIVI Monokey side racks (no bags), and a functional tank bag. It has factory heated grips (the left side is a little weak, but it works) and a heated seat element that works well. It also includes an Atlas throttle lock, which is excellent. The bike has a BMW user manual and two keys for everything.

I truly love this bike – but I have five bikes and want to get down to three.
