2008 R1200GS

GS in excellent mechanical condition with lots of additions. 46,xxx miles and will be going up this summer. Many mods for off-road riding including: Touratech throttle body guard, axle slider and fully rebuildable/adjustable rear shock for rebound, preload and sag, Ohlins front shock. Shocks new last summer are MUCH better than stock. Suspension set up for 200-250# rider including gear. Hepco-Becker lower engine guards. New appearing muffler from beemerboneyard. New Shinko tires last summer, estimate about 2-3 years left if used off road (I ride about 80% dirt/20% paved). Heated grips. PIAA lights. Added trickle charger lead. Full factory vario-cases keyed to bike. Gas strip still works (rare for this year). Some scratches on valve covers sanded down and repainted. Small scratches on blue plastics visible in photos. Lots of scratches to hepco-becker bars (pre-crash tested) Only known mechanical issue is occasional poor idle for first 20 sec from cold start. This is not a garage queen but still presentable. Used heavily off road on Ophir, Engineer, Cinnamon passes and locally on front range CO. This bike is perfect for an experienced street rider who wants to advance their off-road skills but not cry when they drop their new GS.
