BMW Santiago GS Touring Boots - EU42 US8-9

Adventure touring boots from BMW. Water tight Gore-Tex with large shin protectors. Boots are 13" tall with ski boot like snap fasteners in addition to velcro flaps. Kevlar reinforced shift area. Oil and fuel resistant soles. Stainless steel toe plates. Bought these used about 10 years ago and only wore them a handful of times on my RT. They are better suited for a GS Rider that needs the off road protection they offer. These are somewhat stiff boots so not conducive to lots of walking around that comes with street touring. From what I have read they loosen up somewhat after breaking in. I wear size 8 1/2 US and these fit well even with heavy socks.
