I am selling this as I am no longer able to ride and is one of two OEM Mufflers I acquired for use on future bikes if sold with aftermarket exhaust only. Please check the website provided below to confirm fitment with your model and year of BMW motorcycle. In general, fits R1200 GS/GS 2012-2018 models.

This new OEM Muffler was removed from a new 2018 R1200GSA after purchase and was fitted with an aftermarket muffler. Regulary $1600 retail, I am looking for $100 and to do that I need to remove the inflated value to cover shipping.

Many riders have been talked into an aftermarket exhaust "lighter, louder tone" only to realize that the OEM Muffler was the better product. The stock exhaust is highly optimized by Motorrads engineers to provide the optimal performance through proper back-pressure to work with the BMW's Electronic Control Unit (ECU). It also provides the signature BMW tone and is appreciated in group rides by those who ride behind you and don't want to listen to your aftermarket growl. I admit to having tried two different sets of after market mufflers but held and fortunately held onto the OEM versions which I ultimately returned to within a few weeks of trying the aftermarket units. Note, picture that shows the stamped data and black end plate has a light shadow on it during photography. This is not a dent. No dents or dings.
