2021 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Reparto Corse with Smart Clutch System
16,800 miles and counting
Immaculate

Fit and finish has been meticulously maintained, dealer-serviced. Never fallen over, never scratched. Protected by Adams’ Graphene Ceramic Coating and shined with Adams’ Detail Spray.

If you're looking for a Turismo Veloce, you should know that the Smart Clutch System (SCS) is a game-changer if you're ever in stop-n-go traffic, or riding through small towns looking for a new coffee shop or deli. It’s amazing how easy it is to get used to stopping without pulling the clutch. I've been riding for 30 years, and within a month I forgot I needed to use the clutch on my BMW when coming to a stop. Embarrassing each time it happened, but shows how intuitive and transparent the clutch becomes with MV’s integration of this Rekluse marvel.

Once you’re rolling, the quick-shifter takes care of up- and down-shifts. The bike is light, quick, well-behaved at all speeds and surfaces. The best handling bike that I’ve had that can be ridden comfortably with my wife on the back all day long. It’s on the tall side, but even at 5’8” I don’t feel the need for the lower seat. Just know that you have options there, if you want more of your foot on the road at a light.

The only after-market bit I added was the WRS touring windscreen, which adds inches up and to the sides that greatly reduce highway buffeting that was annoying.

The Reparto Corse (RC) version of this model is stunning. The 2021 RC treatment is to me the finest example of this model of any year. The red finish on the wheels and frame are indescribably rich, and serve to accent the red flywheel of the clutch. (Can anyone explain to me why they changed the clutch color to grey after the 2021 model year?!?)

The bike is getting 10k miles on a set of tires. I stayed with Pirelli (Gran Turismo) when putting on the 2nd set, rather than the dual sport tread that came with it new. If I wind up keeping the bike, I’ll probably go back to Michelin’s sport touring compound that I’ve had good miles on, with a softer ride, it seems. For sure, the Pirelli’s were good all around, no issues in heavy rain, or very hot road surfaces going across the midwest with temps close to 100°F. It’ll need new tires in 5k miles.

Included with the bike will be the sockets for the front and rear wheels, that oddly do not come with the bike when new. I never used them, since the dealer did all tire changes and chain adjustments, but I got ‘em just in case I needed them.

You won’t find a better example of this bike. You certainly won’t see another one like it on the road. Give me a call while it’s still for sale!
