R1100RS-ABS 1994

It's with a heavy heart that I offer my 1994 BMW R1100RS-ABS for sale. I bought this bike new in 1993, and it's given me many years of reliable service. I've given up road riding and amateur roadracing (on an Aprilia RS250 and Ducati Superlight) for...golf. Hey, give me a break; I'm 74.

The bike has been carefully maintained by both BMW dealers and friends who are BMW factory trained mechanics. Only full synthetic oil has been used, and the oil and filter have been changed WAY more often than recommended. It has a new battery, and it runs well. There's slight cosmetic damage (it's 32 years old!) and the ABS is in "fault" mode. Odometer reading is 83,000 miles.

Modifications include:
Ohlins shocks front & rear
Remus no-cat full exhaust
Corbin leather seat

It has BMW hard cases and a BMW tank bag. Lots of spares, including an extra front wheel, worth hundreds of dollars. The bike will provide you with plenty of fun riding for only $2,500. It's in northeast NJ.
